This was the best episode of the season, within five minutes the episode had finished and i was sat there wondering what the hell had just happened. In fact scrap that, i was sat there looking somewhat like this. Unable to fathom my emotions into words. But we will get back to why.

Game of Thrones has recently received controversy and criticism over its rape scenes and child murders to name a few but this is what i call good TV and not because I’m a sadistic. But because it is TV that breaks the rules. GOT tests the boundaries it pushes the limits and it goes places that other programmes aren’t willing to go. I’m not saying its the first to have done this but it sure is one of the most current, anticipated and followed to do so.
I’ve always found there to be certain rules within film and TV that at certain times you can find comfort and safety in. Rules such as the lead character never dying on you because really there is no Buffy The Vampire Slayer if Buffy dies? or James Bond without… James bond. It just wouldn’t happen. Whenever i have a certain worry that my favourite character is going to die, i bounce back to this theory of mine. Now in programmes like The Walking Dead i try not to be too hasty, i mean the creators have for sure killed off quite a few characters that i enjoyed. But Daryl? Could you imagine what would happen if they decided to kill Daryl off? They’re would just be an uproar. I mean maybe even protests. But again, Daryl is so loved that this really isn’t likely. (or lets hope as much)
Now this is where we come back to GOT, because GOT decided to deceive me. I felt like i’d been hi-jacked, wait, no, i felt like John Snow and i felt like HBO were stabbing me again and again. The stabbing wouldn’t stop, not even when i begged them to and i shrieked in horror.

Yes, in my eyes John Snow is the Daryl of Game of Thrones and my theory currently lies crushed up in the bottom of a bin somewhere. How could they? and why? and how dare they. I know, i know how could i be so stupid to think that anybody was safe in GOT?! Now i hold on to the tiniest shred of hope that Melisandre will somehow bring him back to life and my faith in the programme and her powers will be restored.
Besides from this i have many questions for HBO and GOT and one keen interest in Arya Stark’s story line and where it intends on going if anywhere? What happened to her? Did she die? I think not. But whom will she become and what will become of her.
