So i gave myself a break from binge watching season 3 of Orange Is The New Black like most of the population to go and check out Jurassic World. Now excited was an understatement.
It is hands down the best movie i have seen so far this year. I had my hands held to the side of my face as if i was suffering from the worlds worst migraine. Fact is, this was some tense shit and after seeing the trailer a few times i was anticipating and becoming anxious when i knew something was about to happen.
So for the first ten minutes or so me and my friend were kinda just spotting out the so obvious product placements (were media students okay, we can’t help but notice these things anymore). But after that i was so engulfed. The music is just such a classic. It’s like when you watch Harry Potter… that music just never dies. That music is always going to give you that magical feeling you got when you watched the movie for the first time and your continue to get that feeling every time you hear it from then on. I was watching it and just knowing that right there and then i was watching one of those classic movies that is just phenomenal and utterly powerful in a cinema room.
I dont wanna spoil the movie for anyone so i won’t say any more. But i know without a doubt that i will be back in the cinema shortly watching this movie again. Now i’m just chilling back at home with a slice or two of pizza that my housemate and her boyfriend so kindly donated to me!!! :)
